The Grace Hopper Celebration of Women in Computing in India has a variety of programs for college students. Here are the details :
1. Student live streaming : The purpose of this to get our future technologist and computing professionals to start networking and engaging in how they can contribute now and when they start their career. Prominent speakers like Kirthiga Reddy and Meena Ganesh would deliver the keynotes. The tracks will deal with innovation, entrepreneurship, career, academia and research. More details here.
2. Student only career fair : At the fair, students will be able to meet sponsor representatives and working professionals to discover the various full time jobs and internships at their companies. Interested candidates have to submit their resume to the resume data base of Grace Hopper India to be considered for jobs and internships at the sponsor companies. More details can be found here.
3. Hackathon : The hackathon attendees can collaborate to write code with their peers for FOSS projects that support humanitarian initiatives and goals. The registration is free, but only the first 50 women developers will be given admission. Students of all experience levels are welcome to participate.
